Pacifica Housing and Extreme Outreach Partner to Spread Christmas Cheer

Victoria, BC - Every tenant in Pacifica's four supported housing complexes will receive a stocking this Christmas thanks to the Extreme Outreach Society's Warm-A-Soul program. The program began 14 years ago with 25 stockings distributed to people most in need. This year's goal is 1000.
"We are excited and incredibly grateful to the staff, donors and volunteers at Extreme Outreach who will spend time putting together and delivering stockings this Christmas" said Karyn French, Executive Director, Pacifica Housing "the holidays are a particularly challenging time for most of our supported housing tenants as many are estranged from their families. The stockings will mean a great deal them."
Extreme Outreach's Executive Director Cliff Power and his team will deliver nearly 200 gender specific stockings to Camas Gardens, Clover Place, Waterview and Medewiwin Apartments between December 19th and December 21st. Pacifica's onsite support staff will distribute the stockings to tenants Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
"Let us always consider how we may encourage others on towards love and good deeds" said Power, "This Christmas lets take the time to show others we care."
